What I learned, I learned primarily in India, where I studied, worked, and lived for four years. I was also granted a scholarship there, which concluded in an internship at the natural therapies clinic  in Pondicherry. I expanded my knowledge and practice travelling in South Africa, America, and Europe.

I returned from my last long trip in Decemeber 2005. For ten months, I volunteered with underprivileged children (aged 2.5-14 yrs) in two schools in Ecuador and conducted workshops for teachers, doctors, and therapists. For six months, I taught body awareness and movement therapy in the United States. I currently live in Bydgoszcz, where I continue my practice. I run workshops in Jastrzębia Góra, Warsaw, Szczecin, Krakow, Jastrzębie-Zdrój, and Gliwice, as well as abroad in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, and England.

I offer sessions in somatic gymnastics, anti-stress exercises, movement therapy, mindfulness, and meditation in motion. The exercises are tailored to the individual needs of the client, and age is no barrier. They result in more strength, restored vitality and serenity, as well as better health. During the sessions, by practicing contact with one’s own body, we lerna, among other things, how to respond to stress and return to proper posture.

They take place in small groups and casual settings, which together with serene surroundings make the perfect conditions for respite and mindfulness practice. Regardless of the location, each retreat has the same goal: to find lightness, peace, and renewed energy.

Somatic Exercises – Explanation

Somatic exercises or body awareness are about restoring inner balance. These movements are not about achieving perfection through mechanical repetition. There’s no right or wrong way to practice—instead, it’s about personal exploration within one’s own limits and growing capabilities, tuning into the body, which is an internal guide. Each movement is an experience of personal change, whether fully conscious or not.
